·      Record production of 4.0 million Engine Equivalents in second quarter
·      Thirteen consecutive quarters of year-on-year series production increase
·      Positive contributions from consumables sales and installation revenue

[Stockholm, 9 July 2024] – Series production in the second quarter finished at 4.0 million Engine Equivalents, marking an all-time high for the second quarter and extending the string of year-on-year quarterly increases to thirteen consecutive quarters.  Following the highest first quarter on record, year-on-year production in the first half of the year finished at 3.95 million Engine Equivalents, up 13%. 
 
Sales of the consumable Sampling Cup were also strong during the second quarter, with 56,700 (49,700) units shipped.  Overall, Sampling Cup shipments for the first half of the year amounted to 101,300 units, marking a 23% year-on-year increase.
 
“With quarterly production records in both of the first and second quarters, and strong consumables sales, we have established a positive foundation for the second-half of the year” said Dr Steve Dawson, President & CEO of SinterCast.  “We have also seen good initial progress in our 2024 installation campaign, with SEK 2.4 million (SEK 1.0 million) of installation revenue booked, and intensified planning for new installations in the second half of the year.  Our goal for the third quarter is to usher the installation opportunities from discussions to decisions, enabling us to exceed our goal of SEK 8 million in installation revenue before year-end.”
