Silicon Optronics, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 1,113.85 million compared to TWD 928.52 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 245.56 million compared to TWD 92.69 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.18 compared to TWD 1.2 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.16 compared to TWD 1.2 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 3,123.35 million compared to TWD 2,067.38 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 612.23 million compared to TWD 148.66 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 7.94 compared to TWD 1.93 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 7.88 compared to TWD 1.92 a year ago.
Silicon Optronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development and distribution of complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors and modules. The Company's products include Video Graphics Array (VGA) area CMOS image sensors, high definition (HD) /Full HD area CMOS image sensors, two Mb/five Mb/eight Mb area CMOS image sensors and 1200/2400 dots per inch (dpi) linear CMOS image sensor/modules. The Company's products are applied in digital cameras, mobile phones, surveillance cameras and other image scanning products. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
