Shenzhen Coship Electronics Co., Ltd. (SZSE:002052) agreed to acquire Xiamen Kaopuyun Co.,Ltd from a group of shareholders on January 18, 2024. Consideration will be partly paid in cash and partly in shares. Shenzhen Coship board approved the deal. The transaction is subject to Shenzhen Coship shareholders approval and approval of Shenzhen Stock Exchange and CSRC.

Shenzhen Coship Electronics Co Ltd is a China-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of communications industry and related equipment. The Company conducts two businesses. The communications and related equipment manufacturing business is engaged in the research and development, manufacturing, service and sales of radio and television full-service integrated cloud platform, digital television (TV) middleware, smart TV operating system next-generation broadcast network (TVOS), smart digital terminals, smart gateways, digital TV front-end equipment and others, as well as the development, integration and operation of value-added services related to smart homes, mainly for radio and television operators, telecommunications operators and global overseas operator markets. The new energy lithium-ion battery business is engaged in the technical research and development, production and sales of lithium-ion batteries. The Company mainly conducts business in the domestic market.
