Sheng Yu Steel Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 2,278.037 million compared to TWD 2,684.529 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 114.613 million compared to operating loss of TWD 23.315 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 68.150 million compared to net loss of TWD 14.039 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.21 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.04 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was TWD 6,686.059 million compared to TWD 7,586.651 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 106.920 million compared to TWD 52.368 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 42.697 million compared to TWD 44.581 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.13 compared to TWD 0.14 a year ago.
SHENG YU STEEL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the processing and distribution of steel products. The Company provides galvanized steel coils, such as aluminum-zinc coated steel coils; pre-coated galvanized steel coils, such as coated aluminum-zinc coating steel coils and others, and cold rolled steel coils, which are used in constructions, electric appliances, agriculture tools and other areas. In addition, the Company provides raw material steel coils, pickled steel coils and others. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, the United States and Europe.
