--Oil major Royal Dutch Shell PLC will cut 330 jobs from its U.K. operations in the North Sea over the next two years, according to a report by the BBC.

--Most of the job cuts are from office roles in Aberdeen, as well as projects that are in the process of being decommissioned in the region.

--Shell said the U.K. remains a focus of investment for the company.
