Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ASX:ANZ) is looking towards reducing its 20% holding in Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS) has been working on the process for around a month, under instruction from ANZ's deputy chief executive Graham Hodges, after chief executive Shayne Elliott declared he wanted to "slim down" in the Asian region and become "a smaller, more refined animal going forward".
