Seluxit reduces the expectations for the financial year 2021/22

Seluxit reduces the expectations to the revenue in 2021/22 to DKK 6-8 million and EBITDA to -1 to -2 million. DKK for the financial year 2021/22.

Background

The adjustment of the expectations is due to slower decision-making processes among customers in the energy segment, as well as longer delivery times for electronics components. Despite the increased efforts on the sales side with partnerships and more active outreach sales, as well as participation in exhibitions and conferences, we are still waiting for the orders to materialize. 

The last half of 2021 has been marked by many dialogues with several potential new customers in the energy segment in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Denmark. Our solution is already part of several pilot projects, where our technology is being tested together with new meters.

It is a process that takes longer than expected, despite an increased need in the market due to rising energy prices and increased demand for insight into consumption from the end customers. The decision to roll out the technology to many hundreds of thousands of consumers takes time, as our customers want to make sure they choose a long-term sustainable solution that can be continuously expanded with new functionality through software updates. Seluxit has such a solution.

The half-year report for the first half of the financial year 2021/22 will be published on 21 January 2022.

“Over the past year, we have further developed our platform and hardware solution for the energy market. We have made a redesign with new components to reduce some of the problems we see with deliveries in the electronics component market. The rising energy prices, as well as the green transition, increase the need for solutions that can tell customers where and when energy is used. In addition, there is a need for advice and management options to reduce energy costs. Therefore, it is our plan to invest even more in this segment in the coming time.”
