Sears Holdings Corp. will close its 60-year-old store in Cherry Creek in late March, and intends to begin its liquidation sale on Jan. 23, 2015.
The adjacent Sears Auto Center also will be shuttered as part of the store's closure. The store and auto center have a combined 66 employees. Sears Holdings said the employees will be able to apply for work at other Sears or Kmart stores in the area.
