Scandinavian Tobacco Group A/S agreed to acquire MacBaren Tobacco Company A/S from Harald Halberg Holding A/S for approximately DKK 540 million.

Scandinavian Tobacco Group A/S (CPSE:STG) agreed to acquire MacBaren Tobacco Company A/S from Harald Halberg Holding A/S for approximately DKK 540 million on June 27, 2024. Consideration will be paid on a debt and cash free basis. The acquisition will be financed by cash at hand and debt.

For the period ending April 30, 2024, MacBaren Tobacco Company A/S reported total revenue of DKK 723 million and EBITDA of DKK 85 million. Closing of the transaction is expected shortly.
