Sam Woo Construction Group Limited provided group earnings guidance for the year ended March 31, 2017. For the year, the board of directors of the company announced that, based on currently available information, the group expects a drop in profits for the year ended 31 March 2017 of not less than 50% as compared to that of the previous year. The decrease was mainly due to decrease in contract revenue. As disclosed in the interim results and interim report of the Group last published for the period ended 30 September 2016, the Group has not secured a new contract since and after mid-2015. Besides, the Composite Development Project in Macau, which was the main revenue contributor in the last financial year, was completed at the end of 2015. During the year, over 95% of the Group's revenue was contributed by Liantang/Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point project and Hospital Expansion project.
