Saipem has been awarded two offshore projects in Saudi Arabia worth a total of about $500 million under the Long-Term Agreement (Lta) in effect with Saudi Aramco.

For the first project, Saipem is involved for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (Epci) of a crude oil trunkline of about 50 km with a diameter of 42" for the Abu Safa field, while the activities related to the second project concern the production maintenance programs of the Berri and Manifa fields.
