Rush Enterprises Appoints Shelby Howard as Regional General Manager of Midwest Region

Rush Enterprises, Inc. announced that its subsidiaries have acquired certain assets of CIT, Inc., which does business as Chicago International Trucks, Mcgrenho L.L.C., which does business as Indy Truck Sales, and Indiana Mack Leasing, LLC; and the membership interests of Idealease of Chicago, LLC. The purchase price for the assets, membership interests, goodwill and dealership properties was approximately $145 million. Shelby Howard, Dealer Principal of Chicago International Trucks and Indy Truck Sales, assumes his new role as Regional General Manager of the Midwest Region with responsibility for operations in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas and Missouri.
This newly established region will be company's Navistar Division, and Shelby's experienced leadership will be critical to maintaining continuity and service excellence.
Rush Enterprises, Inc. is an integrated retailer of commercial vehicles and related services. The Company operates through the Truck Segment, which includes its operation of a network of commercial vehicle dealerships under the name Rush Truck Centers. Rush Truck Centers primarily sell commercial vehicles manufactured by Peterbilt, International, Hino, Ford, Isuzu, IC Bus, Blue Bird and Dennis Eagle.
