Igor Makovskiy: power engineers promptly restored power supply in regions affected by the hurricane

General Director of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy highly appreciated the results of the work to eliminate the consequences of the Hurricane Orkhan, which took place last weekend in 10 regions of the Central Federal District and the Volga region. Please, be reminded that on the evening of 5 July, a hurricane broke out, accompanied by showers, thunderstorms, hail, and gusty winds, and continued throughout the weekend.

Round-the-clock restoration work was carried out by 1,565 power engineers in 495 crews using 644 special vehicles.

The power engineers were provided in advance with all the necessary forces and means to eliminate technological violations.

The operational headquarters worked around the clock in the companies' branches, information exchange was organized with the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and authorities.

"I would like to note that our employees coped with the task and completely restored the power supply within the established regulatory time frame. I thank all the crews of the electricians and the operational headquarters for the work that was organized in the territories where we operate. Cooperation with our consumers was also organized at a high level. I thank you all for your dedicated work", said Igor Makovskiy.
