ROSBANK AKB OAO Banki.ru Information Agency published the ranking of the Russian mortgage banks as of the H1 2015. According to rating, Rosbank and DeltaCredit Bank (Societe Generale Group in Russia) entered the Top-3 by portfolio of disbursed mortgage. Consolidated portfolio of both banks has exceeded 13.3. bn rubles and took the third position in the ranking.
Societe Generale Group in Russia also takes the 3rd position by the number of disbursed mortgage loans, with the result of 4550 loans.
Rosbank together with DeltaCredit Bank entered Top-5 of mortgage banks in Russia, occupying the 4th position with the overall mortgage portfolio >155 bn rubles. They have also occupied leading positions among the private banks with foreign capital in Russia.
39 banks participated in the mortgage ranking. The aggregate mortgage portfolio of these banks is over 95% of the whole banking sector. Banki.ru took into account the amount of mortgage portfolios, the level of NPL, the amount and the number of disbursed loans, the share of loans in rubles and in foreign currency in the portfolio structure and the most popular mortgage loan periods.
In the summer 2015, according to the Strategy of retail banking development of the Societe Generale Group in Russia for 2014-2017, Rosbank successfully completed the transfer of its mortgage business to its specialised subsidiary DeltaCredit Bank. The positive effect made by the reinforcement of specialisation has enhanced the position of the Group in the market and improved the efficiency of business activity of both financial institutions.
The transformation of the mortgage business began in November 2014 and took eight months during which Rosbank was handing the management of the mortgage business to DeltaCredit in more than 320 towns in 69 regions of the Russian Federation.
Today DeltaCredit Bank has become unified mortgage platform for all federal districts. At the same time, Rosbank offers its clients mortgage loans following the programmes and standards of its mortgage subsidiary, and the borrowers enter facility agreements with DeltaCredit Bank. The mortgage loans can be serviced in the outlets of both banks.
