Renforth Resources Inc. announces new assay results, including 1.72 gt gold over 13 meters from the 9,644 m drill program carried out in the fall 2020 on Parbec and designed to add ounces of gold to the open pit deposit, which deposit is adjacent to and oriented towards the Canadian Malartic mine which happens to be the largest open-pit gold mine in Canada.

Today's press release brings to 5 the number of holes that have been analyzed out of a total of 27 holes completed to date.

'Parbec continues to deliver gold results. While our releases may seem repetitive, I'm sure we're increasing the value of Parbec, which is not a bad thing. We look forward to resuming fractionation work on the 7 holes not yet sent to the lab, and then continuing drilling for the remainder of the 15,000 meter program at Parbec in the very near future, 'says Nicole Brewster, President and Chief from the management of Renforth.

Results interpretation

Holes PAR-20-104A and PAR-20-104 were drilled from the same location, using the same collar.

PAR-20-104A was suspended at a depth of 66 m, directly in the mineralization, due to the presence of blocks which deviated both the angle and the azimuth planned for this drilling. Along the entire length of the borehole, the core consists of sediment along quartz / albite / carbonate veinlets, running parallel to or crossing perpendicularly the northeast orientation of the borehole perpendicular to the Cadillac Fault. In surface outcrops over Parbec, there are several instances where structures, including veinlets, are observed parallel to the Cadillac Fault, these would appear perpendicular in the drill core. It is possible that the borehole intercepted and ran along veinlets also perpendicular to the Fault (these would appear to be parallel to the drill core),

Hole PAR-20-104, from the same configuration, shows similarity to hole PAR-20-104A for the first 66 meters, in sediment and in boulder soil, largely composed of quartz / albite veinlets / carbonate running along and through the drill core. However, the difference in widths and grades between these two fairly close holes is attributed to the known nugget effect on Parbec because, visually, the cores are identical. Small visible gold spots have already been observed in similar veins on Parbec (without being observed as such this time); the presence of coarse gold could explain the difference between the two holes.

These holes also confirm the existence of a very promising gold set on Parbec, precisely in the sediments, outside the Cadillac Fault and its mineralized lenses, which requires additional monitoring work.

The results of the samples reported in this press release were recorded and split in the field, bagged, labeled and sealed, then deposited personally by the geologists at the ALS laboratory in Val d'Or. Samples were analyzed using the fire assay method for gold with a gravimetric finish.
