The national advertising sales agency (nasa), today announced a major investment in its creative solutions department.

Rebranded as Invention, the group-wide team, led by Mark Field, will deliver bespoke multi-platform advertising and sponsorship packages for advertisers and agencies.

Field is now looking to expand the current team by creating 18 new positions, including: account directors; creative editorial directors; planning managers; and, a sponsorship director.

Mark Field, director of Invention, said: "As we accelerate the growth of our digital brands across the group the team will be perfectly placed to offer highly-creative and bespoke multi-platform solutions. This is a fantastic development for nasa and one that will benefit our advertisers."

Mark Hollinshead, Trinity Mirror's chief operating officer said: "We are focused on becoming one of the UK's leading multi-platform publishers and this investment represents a significant step in that direction."
