Ranger Energy Services, Inc. Announces Leadership Transition

Ranger Energy Services, Inc. announced that Darron Anderson is leaving the Company after leading Ranger for the last four years. The Board of Directors has appointed the Company’s Chairman of the Board, Bill Austin, as interim CEO. The Board has engaged an executive search firm to assist with the recruitment of a new permanent CEO. Mr. Austin has served as a member of Ranger’s Board of Directors since May 2017 and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors while he serves as interim CEO. Mr. Austin has more than 40 years’ experience in varying industries, including oilfield services. Mr. Austin currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Stallion Oilfield Services, a position he has held since October 2017, and was formerly a member of the board of directors of Nuverra Environmental Solutions, Inc. and Express Energy LLP. Mr. Anderson will no longer serve on the Company’s Board of Directors.
Ranger Energy Services, Inc. is a provider of onshore high specification well service rigs, wireline services, and additional processing solutions and ancillary services in the United States. The Company operates in three segments: High Specification Rigs, Wireline Services, and Processing Solutions and Ancillary Services. The High Specification Rigs provides high specification well service rigs and complementary equipment and services to facilitate operations throughout the lifecycle of a well. The Wireline Services. provides services necessary to bring and maintain a well on production and consists of its wireline completion, wireline production and pump down lines of business. The processing Solutions and Ancillary Services provides other services often utilized in conjunction with its High Specification Rigs and Wireline Services segments. These services include equipment rentals, plug and abandonment, logistics, snubbing and coil tubing, and processing solutions.
