Qumak : Current report no 5/2017 of 8 February 2017 – Appointing a member of the Management Board of Qumak S.A.

Management Board of Qumak S.A. informs that on 1 February 2017 the Supervisory Board of the Company adopted a resolution concerning appointing Włodzimierz Kawecki to the membership of the Management Board. According to the adopted resolution, Włodzimierz Kawecki will perform the functions upon 10 February 2017.

Włodzimierz Kawecki undertook a function of a Vice President of the Management Board will manage the area of IT realizations in the Company.

Włodzimierz Kawecki, 59 years old

Włodzimierz Jacek Kawecki graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology. He also completed postgraduate studies at the University of Minnesota obtaining an Executive MBA title. He holds over 20 years of experience in the IT sector gained while fulfilling top management functions held in Polish and global companies.

He started his professional career in Hewlett-Packard Polska Sp. z o.o., where from 1991 to 1998 he held the following functions e.g. Marketing Director, Indirect Sales Director, and Direct Sales Director.

During the years 1998-1999, he fulfilled a function of a Sales Director in SAP Polska Sp. z o. o. From 1999 to 2005, he worked in Ster-Projekt S.A. and as a Management Board Member he was engaged in enhancing the company's growth, he was operationally responsible for services in the ERP area, building Data Center, as well as co-operation in the telecommunications sector.

In May 2005 he returned to Hewlett-Packard Polska Sp. z o.o. fulfilling the following managerial roles successively: a Sales Director, a leader of a general transformation of sales organization in Poland, and a HP Hardware Division Director (ESSN).

During the years 2010-2014, he was a Regional Director at Oracle Polska Sp. z o.o. with the responsibility for sales of Oracle Systems in Poland, the Baltic States, and Hungary; as well as for the merge with Sun Microsystems and developing a market strategy.

During the years 2015-2016, he co-operated with Ernst & Young Sp. z o.o. Business Advisory sp.k within the scope of the development of new services.

In his professional career he took part in the processes of developing a strategy, designing and a realization of organizational changes on multiple occasions. He conducts his own economic activity within the scope business consulting.

In accordance with a submitted statement, Włodzimierz Kawecki does not perform any activity which is a competition to the business activity of Qumak S.A. as well as he does not perform any activities in other companies conducting a competitive activity as a partner of a private partnership or as a member of a body of a joint stock company or any other legal entity that is a competition to the Company. Moreover, Włodzimierz Kawecki is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept under the act of 20 August 1997 on the National Court Register.
