Qiiwi Games and All3Media International announced the soft launch of an new mobile game Midsomer Murders: Words, Crime & Mystery. Based on the iconic British detective series, the app will initially be launched in Canada, the Netherlands and Sweden on Android and iOS devices with a planned launch expansion later this year. Midsomer Murders is the UK's leading drama export ­ it's been seen in over 200 territories worldwide via distribution by All3Media International. Now in its 22nd season, the long-running drama, from Bentley Productions and seen in the UK on ITV, is based on the popular Chief Inspector Barnaby books from acclaimed author Caroline Graham. Originally adapted for television by Anthony Horowitz. Midsomer Murders follows Inspector Barnaby as he investigates the staggering death toll in the seemingly idyllic county of Midsomer. Designed for mobile platforms including Android and iOS, word-based game Midsomer Murders: Words, Crime & Mystery is the first collaboration between All3Media International and mobile game developer Qiiwi Games. Players join Elizabeth Barnaby, DCI John Barnaby's niece and a talented new addition to the Midsomer Constabulary, to put their detective skills to the test by completing mini games and crossword puzzles. With the help of Elizabeth and her four-legged friend Paddy, players can interrogate sneaky suspects, discover hidden clues and unravel the story behind the crime.
