QAD Inc. announced the release of QAD Enterprise Applications 2013.1 Enterprise Edition. The latest QAD release, which contains multiple updates and enhancements, focuses on the intersection of QAD products, customers' manufacturing business processes and end-user experience. Enterprise Asset Management (EAM): The latest version of EAM now seamlessly integrates into other areas of Enterprise Applications, and helps customers improve utilization, increase efficiency and decrease costs for easier management of valuable physical assets. Supply Chain Portal: The underlying technology of QAD's collaborative portal got a major upgrade, improving performance and increasing full supply chain visibility improving real-time communication and tracking of orders and shipments. Trade Promotions Management (TPM): TPM, a new functionality available to early adopters, is built for companies dealing with complex promotional spends.
