Product Launching: ZAXIS-7G Series Hydraulic Excavators

As one of the breakthroughs in the first semester of FY2024, PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk introduced the newest ZAXIS-7G series of hydraulic excavators in the 30 ton, 40 ton and 80 ton classes, that is ZX350H-7G,ZX490LC-7G, and ZX890LCH-7G. Promoting the quality and durability of the unit, Hexindo is optimistic to deliver this newest product to meet the needs for heavy equipment in Indonesia, especially in mining industry.

The launch of the ZAXIS-7 series is part of the business plan of Hitachi Construction Machinery, Japan in several countries in the Southeast Asia region which previously introduced this latest product in the European, Japanese, and North American markets. "Even though competition in the heavy equipment market is quite tight, we believe that Hexindo could compete with high unit durability and reliable after-sales service. We remain optimistic that we can always be a reliable partner to fulfil the needs of the heavy equipment industry," said Operations Director of Hexindo Mr. Yasumasa Zaizen.

The optimism was also expressed by Sales Director of Hexindo Mr. Dwi Swasono. The presence of the latest ZAXIS-7G hydraulic excavator series is in line with the need for high quality heavy equipment on the market. "This latest series has a number of advantages, including low fuel consumption, ConSite Air solution technology and the Aerial Angle system which further increases the safety and operational comfort of the unit," said Mr. Dwi Swasono.

Main Features of ZAXIS-7 Hydraulic Excavator Series:

1. Low Fuel Consumption and Cost Effective

The ZX350H-7G's existing hydraulic system and pump controls have been upgraded to increase hydraulic efficiency. Not only that, ZX490LC-7G and ZX890LCH-7G are also equipped with the latest HIOS-V hydraulic system which helps increase hydraulic efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. On all models, work modes can be selected based on location and type of work. Additionally, an ECO meter displayed on an in-cab monitor is used to support fuel-efficient operation while contributing to lower fuel consumption and life cycle costs.

Compared to existing -5G models, regarding ZX350H-7G, the fuel consumption reduces by 16% (PWR mode) and 15% (ECO mode), regarding ZX490LC-7G, the fuel consumption reduces by 14% (PWR mode) and 24% (ECO Mode) and regarding ZX890LCH-7G, the fuel consumption reduces by 17% (PWR mode) and 18% (ECO Mode).

2. ConSite Air feature for Machine Condition Diagnosis and Software Updates

By utilizing an over-the-air (OTA) communication system, the ConSite Air feature enables remote monitoring of machine conditions such as error codes and sensor data displayed on the screen, for hydraulic excavators. This information can be used as a preliminary assessment to increase the efficiency of machine recovery as well as information support for unit operators. In addition, the ability to update software related to controllers and communication terminals, the efficiency associated with updating this system is a significant breakthrough. Machine condition diagnosis and software updates - previously carried out separately for each machine - can now be carried out more quickly.

3. Improved Safety with the Aerial Angle System

The level of safety while the machine is operating is increased because of Aerial Angle system which uses a monitor inside the cab to display the area around the unit and the area behind the machine at around 270 degrees. Guide line indicating the distance between the machine and surrounding objects can also be displayed to better understand the surrounding conditions. The unit operator can also change the camera view or change the guide line settings according to the type of unit work and the unit operator's preferences. Apart from that, the addition of handrails at the top of the machine body adds to the safety value when the machine is lifted or lowered for inspection or machine maintenance.

"Hexindo continues to contribute to the heavy equipment industry and business development in Indonesia as a reliable partner for customers. Hexindo offers units that are able to increase business productivity, reduce operational costs and pay attention to security and safety values when using the unit. Supported by more than 50 branch offices and projects throughout Indonesia, Hexindo ensures optimal after-sales service for customers," said Mr. Dwi Swasono.
