Pontex Polyblend Co.,Ltd announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 245.837 million compared to TWD 237.711 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 1.663 million compared to operating Income of TWD 9.249 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 8.914 million compared to net income of TWD 12.336 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.11 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.15 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was TWD 748.955 million compared to TWD 709.013 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 3.397 million compared to TWD 15.233 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 6.332 million compared to net income of TWD 20.477 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.08 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.24 a year ago.
PONTEX POLYBLEND CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, development and manufacturing of spare parts and engineering plastics. The Company mainly operates through two business segments. The Equipment Components segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of plastic injection molding products, including the soles, sports equipment and related spare parts. The Composite Materials segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of engineering plastic materials, including the glass and fireproof composite materials, as well as nylon 6 and nylon 66 cold resistant materials. The Company mainly operates its businesses in Taiwan and the rest of Asia.
