Pontex Polyblend Co.,Ltd announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 245.041 million compared to TWD 192.748 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 2.225 million compared to operating loss of TWD 32.919 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 9.618 million compared to net loss of TWD 38.500 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.11 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.45 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 471.302 million compared to TWD 373.932 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 5.984 million compared to operating loss of TWD 54.841 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 8.141 million compared to net loss of TWD 53.320 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.1 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.63 a year ago.

The Company mainly operates through two business segments. The Equipment Components segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of plastic injection molding products, including the soles, sports equipment and related spare parts. The Composite Materials segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of engineering plastic materials, including the glass and fireproof composite materials, as well as nylon 6 and nylon 66 cold resistant materials. The Company mainly operates its businesses in Taiwan and the rest of Asia.
