KTM Industries AG announced preliminary consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2016. For the year, revenues were EUR 1,343.0 million against EUR 1,223.6 million a year ago. EBITDA was EUR 198.4 million against EUR 178.4 million a year ago. EBIT was EUR 122.3 million against EUR 112.9 million a year ago. Earnings after taxes was EUR 46.6 million against EUR 65.0 million a year ago. Earnings after minority interests was EUR 46.6 million against EUR 30.0 million a year ago. Net debt as on December 31, 2016 was EUR 367.7 million against EUR 387.4 million as on December 31, 2015.

For the business year 2017, the company expects further organic growth in its core areas. Based on the current order situation, the management assumes a continuing positive development of the business performance for the business year 2017. The investment volume will further increase in the business year 2017, whereby the focus is on new vehicle models as well as infrastructure and expansion investment in the field of development.
