Pets at Home Group Plc announced the following changes to its board of directors. Appointment of Roger Burnley CBE who will be appointed as an independent non-executive director with effect from 14 February 2023. On his appointment to the board, Roger will be appointed as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee, Remuneration Committee, Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee and the ESG Committee.

Roger is an experienced retailer who spent ten years as an executive director of Sainsbury's before joining Asda as its Chief Operating Officer in 2016, becoming its CEO in 2017. He left Asda in August 2021 after four years as CEO and was appointed CBE in the 2022 New Year Honours list for services to the food supply chain. In 2022, Roger took on the position of non-executive chairman of Finnbrogue Artisan, an Irish food manufacturer.

Dennis Millard, who has served as the Company's Senior Independent Director for 9 years, will stand down from that position on 14 February 2023, having served 9 years on the Company's Board. The Board has requested that Dennis remain appointed as a director of the Company for a further year. Though he will no longer be considered independent in accordance with the Corporate Governance Code, his experience and retail industry knowledge remain valuable to the Company.

Pets at Home is delighted to announce that Zarin Patel will be appointed asSenior Independent Director with effect from 14 February 2023. Zarin has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 14 April 2021. She is the Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee and a member of the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee, the ESG Committee and the Remuneration Committee.
