Bradda Head Lithium Ltd, up 19% at 1.84 pence, 12-month range 1.40p-5.20p. The North American-focused lithium explorer provides drill hole geochemical results for its Basin project in Arizona. The lithium-in-clay, resource-expansion drilling programme has concluded with the completion of eight drill holes on the Basin North target portion of the Basin project, and all assays have been received. Chair Ian Stalker comments: "This is a particularly exciting juncture in the company's trajectory, as we await the updated resource which could unlock a significant royalty payment from the LRC."

Petards Group PLC, down 5.6% at 6.61p, 12-month range 2.51p-8.46p. Petards, a developer of security and surveillance systems, completes the acquisition of Affini Technology Group Ltd. Affini is a UK-based communications solutions provider to the transport, emergency services, energy, defence and construction sectors. Consideration is GBP2.8 million, GBP1.5 million for adjusted net assets and GBP1.3 million payment for goodwill. The acquisition, together with Petards annual results, was announced on Thursday. Revenue in 2023 falls 13% to GBP9.4 million from GBP10.9 million, as Petards swings to pretax loss of GBP1.2 million from a profit of GBP178,000.
