(Reuters) - British homebuilders' shares rallied on Friday as investors cheered Keir Starmer's Labour Party's comprehensive win in a national election and his plans for the housebuilding sector.

Analysts see Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey and Vistry as key beneficiaries of increased focus on boosting affordable homes and a reform to planning.

Shares of Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey and Vistry rose more than 2% each. The UK housebuilders' index soared 1.9%.
