Centerra Exploration B.V. signed a share purchase agreement to acquire remaining 30% stake in Öksüt Gold Project from Stratex International Plc (AIM:STI) for $40 million on December 11, 2012. Out of the total consideration, an initial cash payment of $20 million will be made and future royalty payments of 1% on production, capped at $20 million shall be paid. Completion of the transaction was conditional on the conversion of six exploration licences to two operation licences and other customary conditions. The two operation licences were received on January 16, 2013.The proceeds of the sale will be utilized to advance the Stratex International Plc's exploration and drilling programmes in Ethiopia, Senegal and Turkey. Gerry Beaney, Melanie Frean and Jen Clarke of Grant Thornton Corporate Finance and Gavin Burnell, Tim Metcalfe, John-Henry Wicks and John Howes of Northland Capital Partners Limited acted as financial advisor and Graham Herring, Beth Harris and Josh Royston of Newgate Threadneedle acted as PR advisor to Stratex International Plc.

Centerra Exploration B.V. completed the acquisition of remaining 30% stake in Öksüt Gold Project from Stratex International Plc (AIM:STI) on January 24, 2013. As part of the offer, Stratex is entitled to receive up to a further $20 million payable through a 1% Net Smelter Return royalty over the Öksüt Gold Project upon the commencement of production.
