Organizaci?n Cultiba, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 1,187.87 million compared to MXN 1,229.95 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 70.08 million compared to MXN 128.92 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.1 compared to MXN 0.18 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.1 compared to MXN 0.18 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was MXN 3,673.59 million compared to MXN 4,204.98 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 539.9 million compared to MXN 627.33 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.75 compared to MXN 0.87 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.75 compared to MXN 0.87 a year ago.
Organizacion Cultiba SAB de CV (Cultiba) is a Mexico-based holding company principally engaged, together with its subsidiaries, in the beverages industry. The Company has license from Pepsi-Co Inc to produce, distribute and sell mainly the Pepsi Cola, Manzanita Sol, Mirinda, Kas, Gatorade, Lipton, Be Light, Mountain Dew and Seven Up soft drink trademarks. The Company also produces and distributes bottled water under the Trisoda, Santorini and Junghanns brands, among others. On August 31, 2013, Cultiba incorporated Grupo Azucarero Mexico SA de CV (GAM) and Controladora de Negocios Azucareros SA de CV (CONASA).
