Orea Mining Corp. agreed to acquire remaining 55.01% stake in Compagnie Minière Montagne d'Or SAS from Nord Gold plc for CAD 100 million.

Orea Mining Corp. (TSX:OREA) agreed to acquire remaining 55.01% stake in Compagnie Minière Montagne d'Or SAS from Nord Gold plc for CAD 100 million on July 20, 2023. Pursuant to the terms of the Amended Agreement, the CAD 100 million payment (the "Payment") will only be made if and when all sanctions are lifted against the Vendor and its shareholders, in all applicable jurisdictions, including in Canada, the United States, France, the UK and the EU.

Transaction is subject to approval approval.
