Okamoto Glass Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:7746) agreed to acquire Niko Optics Co., Ltd. from Yoichi Kushida on March 31, 2020. Okamoto Glass will acquire 0.02 million shares in Nikko Optics. For the year ended June 30, 2019, Niko Optics had net assets of ¥100.4 million, total assets of ¥248.5 million, sales of ¥335.5 million, operating income of ¥33.2 million and net income of ¥27.8 million. The transaction is expected to be completed by April 1, 2020.

The Lighting segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of head lenses and fog lenses for automobiles, as well as glass products for general lighting.
