NVR, Inc. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2022. For the fourth quarter, the company reported net income was USD 454.77 million compared to USD 334.58 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 141.82 compared to USD 96.47 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 133.44 compared to USD 89.09 a year ago.
For the full year, net income was USD 1,725.58 million compared to USD 1,236.72 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 525.2 compared to USD 345.37 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 491.82 compared to USD 320.48 a year ago.
NVR, Inc. is a leading U.S. homebuilder of single-family homes. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- single home sales (94.6%): single-family detached, semi-detached and row homes (Ryan Homes, NVHomes and Heartland Homes brands);
- mortgage credit (5.4%): USD 6.3 billion outstanding managed in 2022.
