NIKE, Inc. : Converse Debuts the Spring 2012 Sport Style Men’s Apparel Collection

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (January 18, 2012) - Today, Converse Inc., announces the debut of its Spring 2012 Converse Sport Style men's apparel collection. In its third season, the collection builds upon the brand's athletic heritage and reflects a youthful spirit of individuality with the incorporation of bold multi-color graphic prints, and color blocking. The addition of board shorts and sleeveless tees round out the collection adding a summer flare.

Amplifying street style, the Converse Sport Style collection includes graffiti inspired graphic tees mixed with images of classic Chuck Taylor All Star patch logo, repeat-logo printed hooded sweatshirts, and color blocked nylon track jackets. Beach shorts and sleeveless shirts are emblazoned with the signature Chuck Taylor All Star patch logo in iconic blue and red. A raw edge cut-off pant returns this season, maintaining the relaxed aesthetic of sport-to-street. Classic colors of red, blue, green and yellow, grounded by a neutral palate of white, grey and castle rock, saturate the collection.

Adapted for a casual modern look, Converse Sport Style is inspired by the brand's rich sport heritage, spotlighting signature details including double grommets, reinforced coverlock stitching, oversized drawstrings, and herringbone tape.

The Spring 2012 Converse Sport Style collection will be available at Macy's on February 1, 2012. Suggested retail prices range from $22 to $98.
