The service offering strengthened through partnerships allows customers a more cost-effective and versatile service in significant IT projects.

HELSINKI (24.1.2023) - The Finnish IT company Netum Group Plc announces new appointments. Altti Raali, who previously worked as CEO of Cerion Solutions Oy, acquired by Netum Group Plc in October 2021, has been appointed to CEO of Netum Ltd. Juha-Pekka Leskinen moved from the position of Consulting Director of Netum Ltd to the Partnership Director at Netum Group Plc. In addition, in the fall, Netum Ltd appointed Petri Oinonen as the new Account Director for enterprise sales. He transferred to Netum from Mtech.

The company's group structure changed recently, and before October 2022, the parent company Netum Group Plc had no employees.

During the restructuring, there was a lot of key personnel rotation, which will reduce siloing and, on the other hand, brings new motivation to the work community. Our challenging goals for profitable growth for the next few years require systematic utilisation of partnerships, and the role of private enterprises in our customer portfolio will be emphasised more than before," says Matti Mujunen, CEO of parent company Netum Group Plc.

With the new structure, the parent company handles, for example, investor relations, business arrangements, financial and personnel management, IT matters, as well as partnership development, for which Leskinen is responsible in his new role. His task is to ensure that the partnership activities proceed according to the strategy.

“In the IT industry, it has been noticed that no one does large projects without partners; instead, services and experts are sought from the network for big assignments. We belong to the partnership programs of the industry's leading players, such as Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Salesforce. We also cooperate with domestic IT and service solution companies, among others. This is how we ensure that customers receive a truly efficient and high-quality service. We see that with effective partner network operations, we can offer the market implementations that no company operating in the network could implement on its own," says Leskinen.

Large projects that utilise partner network activities are typically extensive system development projects, for example, in knowledge management. With the help of partnerships, Netum maintains its know-how of the partners' technology and its development and, if necessary, gets the possibility to utilise the technology partners' own experts.

"As the complexity of IT solutions and projects grows, more diverse skills are needed. With the help of the partnership network, we are able to offer our customers more added value and implementations that are not possible or reasonable to execute alone. In addition, we can significantly increase the productivity of our experts by utilising the world's leading technology platforms and methods as part of our Legacy to Digi concept", states Altti Raali, the new CEO of Netum Ltd.

With the new appointments, Netum, which previously mainly cooperated with public sector clients, strengthens its position on the enterprise side. Oinonen, appointed as the enterprise sector's Account Executive, says that the company's transformation inspires him in his work.

“Netum is clearly in a transformation phase – growth is being sought organically and through acquisitions. This interesting growth phase creates an inspiring atmosphere where it is easy to work. I have been warmly welcomed, and the competent team encourages me to thrive as well", sums up Oinonen.
