A record year across all measures of performance

Payright's Annual GMV exceeded $85M for FY21, up 25% on prior year, with a then record quarterly GMV of $26.1 million achieved in the June 21 quarter, up 134% on prior comparable period.

47% growth in Gross Receivables with IPO proceeds fueling loan book growth.

Total customers as at June 30 2021 up 58% on pcp.

Merchant store growth of 41%, powered by the Home Improvement and Retail verticals. Flagship partners Stratco, Masport and Service Seeking added.

Building brand awareness

  1. national, multi-channel campaign results in 6x increase in consumer brand recognition.

Our first national 'Do it right' consumer brand awareness campaign featured three key target verticals: Home Improvement, Health & Beauty and Automotive.

Highlights include:

Out of Home sites reach of over 5 million people in 24-54 target age bracket, across ~800 sites in

5 capital cities

In excess of 17 million impressions from targeted digital marketing strategy, including exposure across YouTube, 7Mate and 9Plus online channels

Post campaign survey showed a 6x increase in Australian consumer brand recall compared to prior to the campaign

Brand awareness activity has been complemented by co-branded activity via our 3,500 strong merchant base (B2C activity), including national signage roll out, printed and digital catalogue features and TV and Radio advertising.

New appointments

Peter McCluskey

Non-executive Director

Peter has been a corporate reconstruction professional for 33 years and has strong relationships within the Australian and international finance sectors. He has managed the conflicting agendas of diverse parties in large banking syndicates in some of the biggest restructuring assignments in Australia. He is currently a Special Advisor in Restructuring Services at KPMG.

Peter's experience with financial systems, corporate restructuring and digital platforms will help support Payright to responsibly develop its payments ecosystem in a sustainable manner that aligns with its long-term strategy.

Peter is currently a Director of PointsBet Holdings Limited, an ASX 200 listed company and chairs PointsBet's Audit and Risk and Compliance Committee and is a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.

Rob May

Chief Commercial Officer

Rob has over 25+ years experience in sales, marketing, risk and executive management across several consumer lending businesses spanning Australia and New Zealand and was instrumental in establishing BNPL in Australia.

Rob has held senior management positions including Managing Director (2010 to 2017) of Certegy Ezi- Pay BNPL (now known as humm) which included managing 145 employees, and achieving $600M annualised volume across 10,000 merchant partners and generating $40M NPAT. Rob was also a Senior Executive of FlexiGroup (humm group) from 2010 to 2017 and has consulted to a number of leading consumer lending companies in Australia including Payright since Feb 2021.

Tere Green

Chief Operating Officer

Tere is a seasoned sales professional with 14 years of experience spanning personal loans, leasing, line of credit, interest free cards and Buy Now Pay Later across the Australian and New Zealand markets.

A longstanding member of the Payright leadership team, Tere's success in driving consistent business growth in her role as Head of Sales has seen her appointed in her new role as COO. In her role Tere will be responsible for merchant and customer success, including continuing to oversee the success of the sales team, as well as support the Customer and Merchant Care teams.

Prior to joining Payright, Tere held senior leadership roles with payments FinTech's Zip Co and Openpay, along with financial services companies Now Finance and FlexiGroup.

Tere has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Otago.

David Leach

Chief Financial Officer

David is a senior finance executive with over 20 years experience in Financial Services across Australia and the United States.

David's experience includes over 8 years at National Australia Bank, with roles including Head of Finance for the Corporate, Institutional and Specialised Businesses division; and over 6 years at Bank of the West, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, with relevant roles including Executive Vice President, Business and Cost Performance Management, and Interim CFO.

David holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance & Accounting from New York University's Stern School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Haverford College.
