Navarre Minerals Limited announced further gold intersections from its recently completed reconnaissance air-core (AC) drilling program at the highly prospective 100%-owned Irvine Gold Project, located 15 kilometers south of Stawell in western Victoria. Drilling of six priority targets (155 AC drill holes for 8,265m) has resulted in new gold discoveries at Resolution and Adventure Lodes and the advancement of the previously untested Dutton and Napoleon targets to mineralized prospects. The results highlight the potential for ore-grade gold mineralization at Dutton and Napoleon and confirm the continuity of strong gold mineralization within the near-surface oxide zone of the Adventure Lode, which remains open at depth. Drilling has outlined several zones of shallow primary gold mineralization along the flanks of the Irvine basalt dome that underlie the historic alluvial workings of the million-ounce Ararat Goldfield. Details of the final assay results from this phase of drilling are provided in this announcement. Latest results include: 3 meter @ 4.1 g/t Au within broader zone of 8 meter @ 1.7 g/t Au from 27 meter (IAC295 Adventure); 2 meter @ 5.0 g/t Au within broader zone of 13m @ 1.9 g/t Au from 28 meter (IAC274 Adventure); 5 meter @ 2.4 g/t Au from 14m (IAC275 Adventure); 3 meter @ 3.4 g/t Au within broader zone of 5 meter @ 2.2 g/t Au from 12 meter (IAC296 Adventure); 4 meter @ 2.5 g/t Au within broader zone of 6m @ 1.9 g/t Au from 6 meter (IAC279 Adventure); 6 meter @ 1.6 g/t Au from 30m, including 1m @ 5.3 g/t Au (IAC291 Dutton); 3 meter @ 2.7 g/t Au from 36 meter, including 1m @ 6.1 g/t Au (IAC282 Napoleon). Of six targets drill tested, two discoveries have been made - Resolution & Adventure - and two new prospects confirmed - Dutton & Napoleon.
