The Company appreciates customer assistance in reducing energy usage

(January 1, 2018) Williamsville, New York -- A system interruption earlier today at a transmission facility had provided National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation ("National Fuel"), the utility segment of National Fuel Gas Company, with natural gas deliverability concerns in five New York state counties. The situation has been resolved and the transmission system is back at full operating capacity.

National Fuel officials would like to thank both its residential, commercial and industrial customers in Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties for their cooperation in reducing natural gas usage.

Thanks in part to the community's cooperation, along with fast action the Company's engineers and operating personnel in placing the transmission facility back in service, the situation is now resolved.
