Moser-Baer India Ltd. reported unaudited standalone earnings and production results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported net sales/income from operations of INR 2,621.1 million against INR 2,822.7 million for the same period previous year. Loss from operations before other income, finance costs & exceptional items was INR 644.9 million against INR 1,136.9 million for the same period of previous year. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 1,745.2 million against INR 1,084.7 million for the same period of previous year. Net loss was INR 1,745.2 million or INR 8.65 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared to INR 1,084.7 million or INR 6.44 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items for the same period of previous year.

For the quarter, the company reported production volumes increased by 2.45% to meet the future order book.
