MNTech Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A095500) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 5,000 million pursuant to a trust contract with Mirae Asset Daewoo Co., Ltd. The purpose of the share repurchase program is to stabilize the share price. The share repurchase program is valid until January 6, 2019. As of July 6, 2018, the company had 2,277,804 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend and had no shares in treasury through other repurchase.
MNtech Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacture of optical films for display applications. The Company mainly produces optical films, such as prism sheets, lens sheets and others, which are used for liquid crystal display (LCD) back light units (BLUs); touch panels, such as conductive films and touch panels; window films, which are used as window tinting of automobiles and building safety films, and reflective films, which are used for traffic signs, street signs and other safety products. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets, including China, Taiwan, Japan and others.
