Kyiv, April 30, 2020 - Milkiland publishes the Annual results for 2019

In the 2019 Milkiland balanced between some important achievements in the new export markets and difficulties triggered by unfavourable developments in the macro-economic situation, as well as in the situation in dairy markets of core countries of the Group's business.

In particular, Milkiland continued an expansion in the Chinese dairy market by supplying dry milk products, primarily WMP, to this country. The Group also supplied Kosher dairy products to Israel, namely dry milk products and butter, further reinforced its presence in the Central Asia countries dairy markets.

At the same time, growing competition in the core markets of the Group, unfavourable macroeconomic conditions for Ukrainian export business of Milkiland, especially in the second half of 2019, negative financial result of the Polish segment of the business, led to the slide in the Group's financials in the last year.

The Group's top-line declined in 2019 by 5.2% to c. EUR 125.8 million, while EBITDA dropped by 72% to c. EUR 0.6 million on y-o-y basis.
