Metal Tiger plc (AIM:MTR) said on January 11, 2017 that its majority-owned joint venture company based in Thailand has begun an initial public offering process to trade on London's AIM market. Metal Tiger said the Song-Toh and Boh Yai Mining Co. Ltd silver-lead-zinc mines joint venture, in which it has a 78% interest, is seeking a listing on AIM for the second quarter of 2017. Metal Tiger is involved in the mines project with Kanchanaburi Exploration and Mining Company Limited, Boh Yai Mining Co Ltd and Det Pornnaret Klipbua, which is the controlling shareholder of those other two partners. "The IPO of the Thai joint venture is expected to realise significant value for all interested parties and shareholders and create a highly attractive company on AIM for investors to gain exposure to a near-term production silver-lead-zinc project," said Michael McNeilly, Chief Executive Officer of Metal Tiger.
