7th Annual EBSB Deep Freeze Hockey Tournament a Success.
EAST BOSTON - The 7th Annual EBSBS Deep Freeze Hockey
Tournament took place over the Holidays at the Porrazzo Rink
in East Boston. Local high school hockey teams, East Boston,
St. Cements, Newton South and Swampscott participated in the
annual event. All proceed went to cancer research at Boston
Medical Center Breast Cancer Research Center. EBSB President
Deb Jackson was on hand to drop the ceremonial first puck and
Branch Manager Kim Altschul presented Newton South with the
championship trophy.
The tournament has donated over $20,000 to the research
center since the tournament's inception.
