Dear Sir,
Kindly refer to the participation of MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT Plc.) in the auction for the three digital terrestrial television licenses at national level, the details of which are as follows:
1. December 26, 2013
1) High-Definition Variety Category
2) Standard-Definition Variety Category
2. December 27, 2013
1) Standard-Definition Kids and Family Category
MCOT Plc. would like to inform you that the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has notified in its letter Sor Tor Chor No. 4006/935 dated January 10, 2014 that in the above-mentioned auctions, the licenses won by MCOT Plc. were as follows:
1. High-Definition Variety Category, at the bid price of 3,340 million Baht (three thousand three hundred and forty billion Baht) (Exclusive of VAT)
2. Standard-Definition Kids and Family Category, at the bid price of 660 million Baht (six hundred and sixty million Baht) (Exclusive of VAT)
The Company is therefore required to comply with the conditions as stipulated in the NBTC's Notification on Criteria, Procedures and Conditions for Auction for Commercial Digital Terrestrial TV Licenses at National Level B.E. 2556.
