By Kuala Lumpur- Manulife Insurance Berhad opened a new branch office in Sungai Petani, Kedah today. The official opening was officiated by Yang Berbahagia Dato' Hj Tajul Urus Bin Hj Mat Zain, Parliament Coordinator of Merbok Constituency and Mr. George Chew, Chief Executive Officer of Manulife Insurance Berhad.
"This year, Manulife Malaysia celebrates 50 years of helping Malaysians prepare for their financial future, and we are proud to be here today at Sungai Petani after launching our new office in Kota Bharu last week. With this new branch, we are able to reach out to more Malaysians, especially the local community and assist them with their financial, protection and retirement needs. The Sungai Petani branch will now offer the local community unparalleled customer service and convenience such as cheque collection, premium payment services, customer advice, and support on policy status." said Mr. Chew.

In conjunction with today's opening, Manulife donated medical rehabilitation aid equipment to Rumah Seri Kenangan as part of Manulife's commitment to the local community. Manulife also held a blood donation drive to encourage the company's agents and employees to be proactive in giving back to the community.
This latest opening is part of an expansion across Malaysia by Manulife. Manulife has now an extensive network of 11 Regional Support Centres/Branches and more than 80 agency offices nationwide.
