Logica Plc : Logica appoints Björn Ivroth to head its Swedish business

Logica, a leading business and technology service company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Björn Ivroth, who will join Logica to head our Swedish operations. He will join in the second half of 2012, replacing Stefan Gardefjord who has left to join the Swedish Space Corporation.

Björn brings significant depth and breadth of experience in the outsourcing, technology and management consulting area, having spent more than 20 years in a variety of client facing and operational roles across the Nordic region. In his most recent role, he served as Country Manager at IBM Global Business Services (GBS), with responsibility for the business in Sweden and Finland. Prior to joining IBM in 2010, Björn spent 13 years at Accenture where he was a Partner and Senior Executive with responsibility for the Nordic Outsourcing business. He began work as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co in Denmark in 1985 and co-founded a management consulting boutique prior to his move to Accenture in 1996.

Björn will be responsible for the day to day management of Logica's Swedish operations, which employs around 5,000 people and accounts for approximately 16% of Logica's group revenue.
