The following is a Company Announcement issued by LifeStar Insurance plc ("the Company") pursuant to the Capital Markets Rules issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority.

Regulatory Approval - Independent Non-Executive Director

Further to the Company announcement dated 20 June 2023, in relation to the appointment of Jean Paul Fabri, holder of Maltese Identity Card number 272983M of 6, Ramiro Barbaro Street, Lija, Malta as an independent non-executive director of the Company, the Company hereby wishes to announce that regulatory approval for the appointment of Mr. Fabri as an independent non-executive director has been obtained from the Malta Financial Services Authority. In accordance with the same, the effective date of appointment of Mr. Fabri is 02 August 2023.

As previously announced, Mr. Fabri will also serve as a member of the Nominations & Remuneration Committee of the Company, with effect from the above-indicated date.
