LG Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based company engaged in the provision of basic petrochemical materials. The Company produces ethylene, propylene, butadiene, benzene, toluene, mixed xylene, propane, phenol and acetone, as well as synthetic resin products such as high density polyethylene and bisphenol-A. During the year ended December 31, 2006, the Company had a production capacity of 2,506,000 tons of petrochemical products and its actual production output was 2,337,000 tons. The Company's headquarters are located in Seoul. It has a domestic factory in Yeosoo and a research and development center in Jeollanam Province. As of November 2, 2007, the Company merged with LG Chem Ltd.
