On Wednesday evening, LDC reported third-quarter sales for 2022-23 of 1.5 billion euros, up 17.4% in value, but down 6.5% in volume. On an organic basis, sales rose by 17.5% in value terms, but fell by 6.8% in volume terms.

The agri-food group explains that the price increases achieved in poultry in France and internationally, combined with its industrial agility, have enabled it to offset the consequences of the situation caused by inflation and bird flu.

After a festive period in line with its expectations, LDC confirms its 2022-23 objectives, i.e. the ambition to exceed 5.8 billion euros in sales and a current operating margin rate in excess of 4.5% of sales.
