The new Keysight sponsored webcast, '802.11ax and 802.11ad - Why we need them and How will it change my RF test methods?', examines the novel RF designs behind these new WLAN standards and discusses why new test methods, and equipment, are required.

As WLAN is installed in homes and public spaces, new challenges arise-for example, the need for a faster connection and better coverage in dense user environments. The new 802.11ax standard is specifically designed to provide up to four times the user capacity of 802.11ac, as well as advanced power control to improve device battery life. Likewise, the 802.11ad (WiGig) standard, just now coming to fruition, offers 7 GB/s data transfer rates using 2 GHz of RF bandwidth in the unlicensed 55-68 GHz spectrum. The Keysight sponsored webcast discusses these new test challenges and how these challenges can best be addressed.
