Keppel announced its expanding operations in Mexico will provide a launching pad for future growth in North America. Deals secured last year include a USD 1 billion agreement to build five jackup rigs for Mexican drilling company Grupo R and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with state oil firm Pemex to jointly develop and operate a yard facility in Mexico.
